Industrial fume arms have a variety of applications in industrial environments. Collecting fume, grinding dust, welding smoke, and material handling and product recovery are just a few of the applications for fume arms. Their design is to capture a contaminant or product at the point of generation. Combined with a negative air exhaust fan, the fume arm and fan will direct materials to a dust collector or receiving vessel.
Government regulations pertaining to worker exposure limits for hazardous dust and fumes continue to increase each year. A local extraction arm is an excellent way to remove airborne materials or toxins before they have a chance to enter the operator breathing zone.
Source capture extraction arms are adjustable and can be positioned strategically at isolated capture points. An industrial-grade arm is designed to handle the rigors of 24/7 operation. Fume arms can also be moved out of the operation when not in use.
IAP Standard Fume Arm
IAP Air Products Standard Fume Arm is offered in both a Hanging and Standing Model.
The fume extraction arms are made out of industrial grade material, is powder-coated, and is supported by external hardware, where maintenance and adjustments are easier to make.
These fume extraction arms are offered in 3″ – 8″ diameter and 3′ – 14′ Lengths. The arms come completely assembled in the box, along with the wall bracket (if hanging model), duct collar, and mounting hardware.
These fume extraction arms have been used in countless applications, such as welding, dust collecting, oil mist, soldering, etc. The arms are always in stock and ready to go!
IAP Stainless Steel Fume Arm
IAP Air Products Stainless Steel Fume Arm is offered in both a Hanging and Standing Model.
The fume extraction arms are made out of 304 Stainless Steel and Anodized Aluminum. These arms are supported by external hardware where maintenance and adjustments are easier to make. These arms are offered in 3″ – 8″ diameter and 3′ – 14′ Lengths.
These fume extraction arms come completely assembled in the box, along with the wall bracket (if hanging model), duct collar, and mounting hardware.
Most common applications for these arms are FDA, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or High Temp. The arms are always in stock and ready to go!
IAP Telescopic Fume Arm
IAP Air Products Telescopic Fume Arm is offered only in a Hanging Model. These arms are built with an internal structure that supports the arm and allows it to move like a trumpet (in and out movement).
These fume extraction arms are offered in 4″, 6″, and 8″ diameters. All diameters are a 4′ – 7′ reach. These arms are great for application where space is limited and are also an economical alternative to the Standard Fume Arm.
Fume extraction arms come fully assembled in the box. These arms are most commonly sold in welding application for schools.
